Days 4-6
Day 4
On day four, we rode from Blythe California to Wickenburg AZ. I spent some time in the shag wagon until the top of a climb. From there I continued on for about 50 miles. We were on roads that were made at the least very boring. Also, it was some highway and there was lots of debris. At approximately mile 50 my legs were aching, incredibly and I had developed a saddle sore. Between these two things I was experiencing a lot of pain and decided to get into the SAG wagon. During this 50 miles I rode quite well. Below are some pictures.
Day 5
I knew at the end of the previous day for that I most likely would be in the van on this day. Given the length of climb and how my legs and my saddlesore were feeling, I decided to stay in the SAG wagon this day. I did take many pictures of The riders as well as some scenic pictures.
Day 6
12/12/2023
Today we rode from Prescott Arizona to Cottonwood Arizona. It was a 45 mile ride which I was able to complete. We had a 6 mile steep climb with prior to that approximately 6 mile slow climb. I was able to do it all, and I felt well. The rest of the ride was all downhill. We stopped in the town of Jerome at the haunted hamburger restaurant. If you ever get a chance you should go there. The story is quite interesting. They have the best milkshakes I have ever had. From there, we proceeded to Cottonwood. Overall today was a good day.
Amazing Jean! Soak in every moment and enjoy! Stay safe ❤️
